HISTORIC MARKER UNVEILING OF BELOVED FOUNDER

The members of the local chapters of Delta Sigma Theta

Sorority, Inc. cordially invite you to attend the reveal of a Historical Marker

commemorating the birthplace of our beloved Founder Winona Cargile Alexander.

The event will take place on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at 1516 Fifth

Avenue, Columbus, GA, in front of the historic St. John A.M.E. Church where her

father Reverend Charles Cargile was a pastor in 1893.

DODGING THE DANGERS

The Columbus Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. presents "Dodging the Dangers."

With partnership from our sponsors Hope Harbour & Micah's Promise, Dodging the Dangers is an interactive health fair for girls in grades 6th-12th and adult women ages 18 and older. Participants will receive health screenings (glucose, weight, blood pressure), tips for total body care, self-defense strategies, and recommendations to avoid risk factors such as domestic violence, sex trafficking, sexually transmitted infections, and mental hand physical health disorders.Come ready to move and learn on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at South Girard Middle School in Phenix City, Alabama. The event will begin at 10:00 AM EST!

The Columbus Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter brings to you the Spring 2019 Fascinators & Fedoras Day Party!  This Day Party is one of our fundraisers to support scholarships and programs 

that allow us to give back to our local community!

Attire is dress to impress with a fedora or fascinator hat to compliment!

The Spring Day Party will be held Saturday, March 16, 2018, at 3 pm at the Rankin Garden & Atrium Downtown Columbus with music by DJ Maurice. Join us for an unforgettable night of class and debonair! Tickets may be purchased here or directly by a member of the chapter.

Everyone has been touched by cancer. You, a family member, friend, co-worker, church member, organization member, or classmate. Relay for Life supports cancer research and provides resources for survivors and their families. Help us support them through our Relay for Life Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser!
